This charming old world style, 50 seat puppet theatre is just a few blocks
south of Circle Center in downtown Indianapolis. Ideal for school groups,
scouts, birthday parties and reserved parties. Peggy Melchior, Debbi Stutzman
and Heidi Shackleford, of MMHP Puppet Productions Inc., present captivating and
creative puppet shows for children and puppet making day camps and workshops.

Puppet Camps

A great week for the creative and ‘hands on’ child. Camp, at the studio, is
from 9am to 4pm. Campers should bring a sack lunch, am and pm snacks will be
provided. Each camper will receive a Puppet Camp T-Shirt. Studio campers
will conclude their week with a performance for parents, siblings and
friends. Extended care is available in am or pm.
Level One - (ages 5- 10)
We will bring Peewinkle’s Puppet Camp to your school or community venue.
Please call or E-mail for available dates. In the morning ( 9am-noon) or
afternoon sessions (1 - 4pm), children will learn to handle a variety of
materials and create and perform with different puppet styles.
Level Two - (ages 9 and up)
June 15-19, 2009 This camp will be held at Peewinkle’s Puppet Studio.
Campers will create and perform with a wide variety of puppets as well as
learn about the history of puppetry.
Level Three - (ages 10 and up) June 22 - 26, 2009
This camp will be held at Peewinkle’s Puppet Studio. It is for the more
advanced child. They will design their own hand/rod puppet or marionette as
well as create some group numbers. Learning to sew on the machine and using
a drill are just a few of the skills they may learn.

Westside of S. Van Buren St., Nashville, IN. Shows are on Saturdays,
starting on Memorial Day weekend through October. Closed in
